YusufzaiTube is a private, password-protected website where a family and friends can upload and watch their own videos. This page explains what information the site uses and why.
What the site stores
- Videos and their details that people upload: the video file, its name, description, rating and category, plus a small preview picture.
- Login cookies that remember you entered the site password or the admin password. They contain no personal information.
- Basic technical logs kept by our host, Cloudflare, such as which pages were requested and when.
The site does not ask for your name or email, does not show ads, does not use tracking or analytics cookies, and does not sell or share information with anyone.
Google Drive
The site owner can link one Google account so that movies are stored in that account's Google Drive. When linked, YusufzaiTube uses Google's permission to see, edit, create and delete Google Drive files, and uses it only to:
- create a folder called “YusufzaiTube” and save uploaded videos into it;
- list the videos in that folder so the website shows the same movies as the folder;
- make those videos viewable by link so they can play on the website;
- move a video to the Google Drive trash when an admin deletes it on the website;
- read how much storage space the account has, to show it in the admin panel.
The site does not open, read, change or delete any other files in the Google account. The Google sign-in is stored securely on the site's server (Cloudflare) and is never shown to visitors. YusufzaiTube's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Removing access and data
- An admin can click Unlink in the admin panel at any time, which removes the Google sign-in from the site.
- You can also remove access from your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Deleting a movie in the admin panel removes it from the website and moves its file to the Google Drive trash.
Children
The site is run by a family for its own use. Movie ratings are shown so parents can decide what is suitable for children.
